Diamond Platinumz management admits to stage-managing beef with Al Kiba for showbiz

The alleged beef pitting Tanzanian heavyweight singers Diamond Platinumz and Ali Kiba was all but a celebrity stunt.
One of Diamond's managers Sallam Sharaff has revealed the perceived differences were created in order to give the two a mileage in the showbiz industry after realising that was what their fans liked most.

Speaking to Times FM on Thursday, August 16, Sharaff also known as Mendez for his talent management acumen, said WCB camp under Diamond often meet Kiba's crew to strategise on how well to remain at the summit of the entertainment.
“There is no beef between Diamond and Kiba and it has never been. Kiba's management and Diamond's often meet and we talk as much. That beef was created by people I don't want to mention because fans liked such differences and so we use it to promote our businesses," he said.
In 2016 during Chris Brown mega concert in Mombasa, Kiba accused Sallam of black magic when his microphone went off the moment he stepped onto the stage.
“What further puzzled me was seeing Diamond’s manager backstage, what was his role back there and how was he involved? But what would people think when immediately after my microphone was turned off, Diamonds manager is seen backstage,” Kiba told Citizen Radio then.
With the new revelations, Diamond's fans are obviously waiting to see whether the crooner's break up with ex-lover Zari Hassan was another case of publicity stunt or not.
